I am from New Orleans, La and I was introduced to HBCUs by my boyfriends mother and I liked them and decided to attend one.

Why did you choose an HBCU over a pwi?*
I chose an HBCU because I heard so much about them and I wanted to experience how it would be to attend a school with majority blacks and I love it.
What is the story of your "experience" at Your HBCU given its heralded status as a stellar and prestigious institution?*
My experience at Grambling State University has been great so far and it was one of the best decisions I’ve made.

Who are the professors that have impacted your life in and out of the classroom? How did they do that?*
The professors that impacted my life in and out of the classroom are Dr. Stewart, Dr.Burkes, and Dr.Franklin. They are extraordinary people and always are willing to help or give advice when I need it.
